About Us

Schroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. We aim to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management. We serve a diverse client base that includes pension schemes, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as end clients through partnerships with distributors, financial advisers, and online platforms.

Established in 1804, we have around 5,500 people across 36 global locations. Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.

The base

We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.

What you'll do

Own the most complex events end to end: fund launches, restructures, mergers, custodian changes and new market or instrument access

Set the plan, sequencing and critical path for cases spanning multiple teams and regions

Own impact assessments covering capability, cost, risk and operating model before commitments are made

Challenge requirements, scope and go-live dates against what operations realistically can achieve

Direct and oversee hub delivery, quality assuring output before sign-off

Own case governance: readiness calls, change control and control evidence ahead of every go-live

Ensure the global dashboard reflects a live, accurate status across the portfolio

Represent onboarding with clients, Distribution, Legal, Compliance and Product

Escalate to the Head of Onboarding Delivery & Oversight where dates or capacity are at risk

Drive lessons learned into playbooks, controls, tooling and automation

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

Track record of delivering complex, multi-jurisdiction onboarding and fund launches

Deep understanding of Aladdin configuration and the wider onboarding platform

Confident interpreting IMAs, prospectuses and client documentation without support

Broad asset class knowledge and front-to-back investment lifecycle understanding

Strong risk, control and judgement; comfortable making the call under pressure

Influences senior stakeholders who do not report to them

Uses live status and volume data analytically to manage a portfolio

Applied KYC, AML and LEI knowledge across multiple jurisdictions

Champions new technology including AI and continuous improvement

What you'll be like

Takes full ownership of complex cases and of the wider book

Challenges scope, dates and feasibility constructively

Stays calm and credible when dates are challenged or cases go wrong

Coaches case managers and raises the standard around them

Partners with the hub as one team rather than directing from a distance

Reports status with integrity and transparency, bad news early

Curious about AI and better ways of working, and leads adoption

Measured on portfolio delivery, early risk identification and fewer repeat issues
