Senior Carer (HC One)

As a Senior Carer at HC One, kindness is central to your role across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will plan and deliver personalised care that provides residents with a sense of security, dignity and independence.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Care Assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Plan, implement and review individualised care plans for residents.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as walking, feeding, and medication administration.
• Provide emotional and physical support to residents, ensuring compassionate care at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the Registered Nurse, Care Manager and families.
• Contribute to safeguarding processes, recognising signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns.
• Manage time efficiently across a 38.5 hour week, working a 3 on/3 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• S/NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)

Experience

• Experience in a senior care role or similar (required)

Additional Criteria

• Knowledge of person centred care planning and dementia care (required)
