Our Workforce Management Strategic Planning team
As part our team, you'll be responsible for leading consistent best practice capacity and scenario modelling for Operations, an area identified as a risk to Monzo Operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and customer service, to optimise workforce deployment, increase efficiency, and enhance overall business performance.
We're looking for an experienced and highly-skilled Senior Capacity Planning Manager to join our WFM Strategic Planning team. This pivotal role requires a forward-thinking individual with expertise in Anaplan as a Model Builder (Level 2+), long-term forecasting, capacity planning, and scenario modelling to ensure optimal resource allocation across our customer operations and service teams. You'll be instrumental in driving our continued WFM Transformation with a heavy focus on our Anaplan models, using data-driven insights to predict business needs, mitigate risks, and present actionable strategies to our most senior operational leaders.

We're looking for an experienced and highly-skilled Senior Capacity Planning Manager to join our WFM Strategic Planning team. - Leading the migration of long-term forecasting, capacity planning, and scenario modelling from Google Sheets into Anaplan.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Anaplan models that account for complex variables and provide accurate forward-looking predictions.
- Developing and leading consistent best practice capacity and scenario modelling for Operations. You will be capable of running multiple scenarios at pace, linking directly to forecasts, capacity, costs, and SLAs.
- Preparing clear, concise, and actionable executive-level reports and presentations on capacity plans, scenario analysis, cost modelling, and hiring plans. Providing regular updates to senior leadership on performance, insights, and any potential issues or risks.
- Analysing large datasets within Anaplan, identifying patterns and trends, and communicate key insights to stakeholders. Enabling self-serve visibility on capacity plans, hiring plans, and P&L impacts for Operations.
- Work closely with Operations, People, Finance, and other departments to align capacity planning models with company goals and initiatives. Collaborating closely with Product and Change teams to drive improvements in our long-term WFM plans.
- Regularly evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of capacity plans, budgets and scenario models, implementing adjustments or enhancements to improve quality and efficiency. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies to improve strategic planning processes.
- Partnering with operational domain leaders (e.g. Directors and General Managers) to produce and communicate headcount budgets. Tracks and models changes to costs and highlights opportunities and risks to plan.
- Demonstrable experience in strategic capacity planning, long-term forecasting, and complex scenario modelling, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining models in Anaplan and areAnaplan Level 2 Model Builder or equivalent.
- A proven track record of creating and managing sophisticated forecasting and capacity models that drive business outcomes.
- Experience presenting complex data to executive leadership and influencing decision-making through clear, strategic communication.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and a meticulous approach to data integrity.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
