Job Title: Senior Café Operations Supervisor

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £26,000 - £27,800 per year

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Includes weekends/holidays)

About Us:

We operate a dynamic food and beverage destination featuring two distinct dining experiences on one site: a bustling, high-volume self-service café and a beautifully curated, intimate table-service venue. We pride ourselves on exceptional food, seamless service, and a supportive team culture.

We are seeking a commercially minded, highly organized Senior Café Operations Supervisor to lead our front-of-house operations and drive excellence across both venues.

The Role:

As our Senior Café Operations Supervisor, you won't just be managing a floor-you will be leading a management team. You will directly manage and mentor three Café Supervisors, ensuring consistent standards across both spaces. You will also serve as the vital bridge between front-of-house service and our kitchen leadership, collaborating daily with our Kitchen Manager and Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Mentor, schedule, and develop a team of 3 Café Supervisors and a wider pool of service staff.
  • Dual-Venue Excellence: Maintain high-speed efficiency in our high-volume self-service café, while delivering impeccable, premium hospitality in our intimate table-service café.
  • BOH Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to ensure seamless food service, rapid ticket times, and strict allergen compliance.
  • Operations & Compliance: Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and strict adherence to food safety and health and safety legislation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven Management Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, with a track record of managing other team leaders or supervisors.
  • Versatility: Experience working in both fast-paced, high-volume counter operations and premium, high-standard table service.
  • Strong Collaborator: Ability to build a strong, collaborative partnership with independent kitchen management.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
