Senior operational buyer - Procurement

Warwick - hybrid

12 month contract

A snapshot of your day to day involvement in all the Procurement activity within the business to ensure efficient management of the procurement and business targets.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Oversee a diverse supplier portfolio, drive initial part sourcing activities, negotiate price adjustment requests, and resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies
• Manage a workqueue and secure that Pos are issued in due time
• Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement
• Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (eg compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
• Support Supplier Management processes (eg qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
• Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality
• Maintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contract management systems
• Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities

What You Bring

• Strong SAP transactional experience (PS1 ATLAS module, production environment)
• Outstanding Excel skills
• Experience in Direct Procurement
• Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives
• Ability to work in a complex, fast changing
