- THE ROLE -

The postholder will deliver a professional procurement service for the University, including effective customer service and external supplier performance to meet the University's procurement objectives. The postholder will also make continuous improvements to help the University achieve its overall strategy through category management, best procurement practice, achieving value for money, and delivering excellent goods and services.

- ABOUT YOU -

- An honours degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent Level 6 qualification) or A-levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) and evidence of significant procurement experience in category management for goods, works, or services.
- Experience of conducting complex tenders across a range of commodities, services, or works, including sourcing prices, negotiating, and implementing value for money.
- Experience of contract management leading to improvements in service and benefits to customers, including social, economic and environmental benefits.
- Experience in the use of eProcurement systems, and a good understanding of the benefits of such systems.
