Job Description

Senior Business Development Manager (Microsoft Solutions) Up to £80,000 base salary + OTE £130,000+ (first year) Fully remote (with client site visits as required - all travel expensed) CPS Group is proud to be supporting a leading Microsoft Business Solutions consultancy in their search for a Senior Business Development Manager. Our client is looking to hire an experienced business development professional with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets within the Microsoft ecosystem. You'll bring both strategic and hands on expertise, with the credibility to engage C level stakeholders and shape enterprise level digital transformation conversations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the acquisition of new business opportunities across the UK, focusing on Microsoft Services (approx. 60% new business / 40% account growth).
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Understand client business challenges and align solutions to strategic goals.
  • Create technology roadmaps underpinned by Microsoft Services and Applications.
  • Produce compelling proposals that encapsulate business requirements, solutions, and costs.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft innovations and communicate new opportunities to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with sales operations, practice leads, and marketing teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Represent the business at networking and industry events to strengthen market presence.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Solutions & Services (M365, D365, Power Platform).
  • Proven success selling or delivering Microsoft focused technology solutions.
  • Experience managing enterprise level client relationships and complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills at senior stakeholder level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical capability into business value.
  • Skilled in deal origination, lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance metrics and adapt strategies.
  • A collaborative approach and ambition to be part of a high growth journey.
