We're currently supporting a major financial institution across the Baltics that is driving a transformative programme within the Savings & Investment domain. This strategic initiative is focused on improving how data is managed, understood, and used across the organisation - with a strong emphasis on governance, lineage, and business alignment. It's a critical part of their ambition to deliver more transparency, better control, and greater value from their data assets.

As a Senior Business Analyst/Data Steward, you'll play a central role in defining and coordinating data requirements across business and technical teams. Your day-to-day will involve capturing data needs, shaping governance practices, documenting end-to-end data flows, and aligning stakeholders around a shared view of processes and priorities. You'll act as the connector between data specialists, business leads, and project teams - ensuring the delivery of clear, actionable, and high-quality data solutions.

To succeed in this role, you'll need deep experience within the Savings & Investment space, with strong knowledge of both the business context and the underlying data. You should be confident navigating data governance principles, have hands-on knowledge of data modelling and lineage, and be able to translate complex requirements into well-structured, practical outcomes.

This is a full-time, freelance role with office locations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

This is an urgent need, with a July start, and the client is ready to move quickly for the right person.
