Mō tēnei tūranga mahi About this role About the role Mo te mahi We're looking for a technical Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Reporting to the Manager, Product Ownership, you'll lead the discovery and definition of requirements/user stories, acceptance criteria and support delivery across the IT work programme and other initiatives.You'll work closely with technical stakeholders and teams to design solutions, improve systems, and deliver tangible business outcomes.Key Responsibilities include: Lead requirements gathering, analysis and documentation to support digital and IT projects and initiatives. Define scope, problem statements, and success measures for business and technology solutions and platform improvements. Work closely with engineers, architects, testers and vendors to support solution design, user acceptance testing and deliver effective outcomes. Analyse software and hardware environments to identify issues, risks and opportunities for improvement. Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical detail into clear and actionable business insights. Skills & Experience Nga pukenga me nga wheako To be successful in this role, you will bring: 5+ years' experience in business analysis, preferably with a strong technical or IT focus. Proven experience working in agile environments and collaborating closely with technical teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex systems and issues. Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A tertiary qualification in business, IT, or a related discipline (preferred). Experience working as a Product Owner or closely alongside Product Owners and exposure to scrum frameworks is desirable.
