The Role

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. You will take ownership of understanding client needs, investigating business problems and opportunities, and translating these into clear, actionable requirements that guide the delivery of our Xfuze platform.

You will work closely with the Senior Product Owner, Delivery Lead, and client teams to ensure that business processes, data flows, and technical specifications are clearly defined and aligned to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with external Product Owners/SMEs
  • Act as primary liaison between client stakeholders and internal delivery team
  • Map current-state and future-state business processes, data flows, and integrations using standard business analysis techniques such as process modelling and use case development
  • Translate high level client objectives into detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in tools such as Jira or Confluence
  • Owns end-to-end business analysis from discovery through UAT and hypercare
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, supporting agile delivery and team collaboration
  • Define and maintain the definition of ready and definition of done to ensure clarity and quality throughout the development cycle
  • Support the Scrum Master or Delivery Lead with agile artefacts and the maintenance of digital boards
  • Document and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as required to ensure project progress
  • Identify opportunities to optimise business processes, enhance data quality, and improve client outcomes
  • Client PO/SME : Act as the primary relationship owner, facilitating/leading workshops, managing expectations, conducting regular check-ins, and translating the client's business vision into clear, actionable requirements
  • Delivery Lead: Collaborate on sprint planning, maintain a healthy backlog, and ensures alignment on the definition of ready/done
  • Technical Lead/Architect: Partner on assessing technical feasibility, shaping integration architecture discussions, and defining API specifications
  • Engineering Team: Provide clarity on requirements throughout development and sprints, provide business context, and validates technical approach against business needs
  • QA: Defines acceptance criteria, contribute to test scenario design, conducts UAT coordination with the client
Your Knowledge & Experience
  • Strong understanding of the Agile development process and associated tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst on large-scale integration, data, or digital transformation projects
  • Solid experience in defining, documenting, and managing business requirements and technical specifications throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working within complex business environments that require coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with data-driven environments, API-based solutions, and cloud infrastructure
  • Skilled in applying business analysis techniques such as business process modelling (BPMN), context and data flow diagrams, use cases, SWOT and gap analysis, and business activity modelling
  • Experience of working with high-volume, real-time data and understanding data architecture principles
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams and managing backlogs using structured approaches to prioritisation and estimation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering value to the business
  • Experience in digital transformation programmes, such as eCommerce replatforming, ERP implementations, or enterprise data initiatives
  • Knowledge of retail systems and processes is desirable
