We are hiring a Chartered Building Surveyor with experience in the built environment, client engagement, and delivering high-quality projects.

With a well-established client base and a respected legacy, this is an exciting growth phase. You will influence strategy, lead projects, and help shape our Building Surveying services.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct building surveys, condition reports, and defect analysis.
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and tender documents.
  • Advise on building regulations, planning, and property legislation.
  • Manage refurbishment and maintenance projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and contractor performance.
  • Conduct dilapidation assessments and negotiate on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Handle Part Wall issues, including notices and awards.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Building Surveying or related field.
  • Full MRICS membership or equivalent.
  • Senior-level experience in surveying and client projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building construction and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of contracts like JCT and NEC.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Familiarity with industry systems and procedures.
