Senior Broker - US Property, London, Hybrid Working

Aon is currently recruiting a Senior Broker to join our US Property team within our Global Broking Centre.

You will be responsible for coordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis.

This is a hybrid role, involving both office and home-based work.

What the day will look like:

  1. Review Submission
  2. Lead quote broking / follow market broking within Lloyd's and European property markets
  3. Present terms to clients / network
  4. Firm Order broking (PPL / wet stamps / email)
  5. Review draft / final MRCs for binding
  6. Send Cover confirmation to client/network
  7. Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  8. Host client meetings
  9. Travel within the network when required, including to the Aon Property Symposium

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Proven experience within the insurance industry, either as a broker or insurer, with established relationships
  • Technical insurance knowledge of US Property markets
  • Proficiency with insurance industry IT systems for efficient client service
  • Experience managing effective client relationships and a book of business
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
