Job Description
Perform replenishment duties in the described manner. Ensure stock availability at all times in the most efficient way. Maintain a service level equal or greater than 99%. Follow up on late deliveries. Obtain stock information from manufacturers on a weekly basis. Follow up on out of stocks. Review / maintain most up to date customer messaging at all times. Maintain "lean inventory levels" in accordance with order cycles, departmental- and /or contractual parameters. De-risk product write-off scenarios. Ensure replenishment in accordance with product buying multiples. PO (Purchase Order) line adjustments, advanced shipping notices Perform analyses for reporting/performance. Leadership to the team on customer messages (ones about to expire and ones where line has losses but no message) Daily check to be carried out on business loss report Reviewing from a higher level on late deliveries for the team. Check teams screens in Manhattan daily to make sure all order screens have been cleared- If not chasing planners to get things cleared. Responsible for partial training of team members with process's and systems - ensure that training module is followed and planners are aware of all responsibilities Responsible for covering their manager while on leave to make sure any daily tasks are covered and urgent requests are dealt with Check SAP for any orders that have error's the reasons and solutions - Error's to be cleared daily Support with SAP/Relex on issues and finding ways to fix, or show how to use in the correct ways. Senior planner to be looking after some key or challenging suppliers, to ensure all issues and solutions are put in place. Boots service level tracker to be updated weekly -responsible for gathering info from planners and updating the tracker. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Ability to work in a team Previous experience as a team leader (desirable) Time management & task prioritisation is critical with ability to work under pressure Strong interpersonal communication skills including a professional telephone manner Ability to analyse and interpret numerical data (desirable) Working knowledge of MS Office with intermediate excel skills such as Pivot Tables, V-lookups, knowledge of basic excel formulae etc. Customer focused. Needs to be a self-starter A good understanding and knowledge of supply chain / logistics / replenishment within the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare- or FMCG companies is beneficial but not a requirement.
