About the role of Senior Bid CoordinatorOur Client is a well-established and financially secure c£60m turnover main building contractor that undertake construction, refurbishment and fit out projects within the education, higher education / further education, healthcare, commercial and community sectors.
Projects typically range between £500k to £15m throughout London and surrounding Home Counties.
Our Client is looking for a hardworking and ambitious bid coordinator ready to step up to Senior or a Senior Bid coordinator. They are also looking for someone with a minimum of 2 - 4 years writing/coordination experience in construction sector of preparing an submitting quality submission and an APMP Qualification/Industry Related Qualification/Degree or equivalent.
Responsibilities for Senior Bid Coordinator- Organise and lead tender 'Launch Meetings'
- Co ordinate the end to end bid process, including initial tender review, bid planning, coordination of inputs and submission.
- Develop bid schedules, action plans and document trackers to ensure all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (estimators, planners, design managers, commercial teams, directors) to gather required information.
- Manage clarification questions, submission portals and all associated client correspondence.
- Ensure bids comply with all client instructions, formatting requirements, and submission protocols.
- Minimum 2 - 4 years writing/coordination experience in construction sector of preparing and submitting quality submission.
- APMP Qualification/Industry Related Qualification/Degree or equivalent
- Need to have worked across fit out, refurbishment or commercial sectors
- Commutable distance to Oxford
- Knowledge of industry specific bidding frameworks (e.g., public sector procurement, government contracts, private sector RFPs).
