Senior Battery Systems Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Senior Battery Systems Engineer to lead essential initiatives in Battery System Engineering, with a specific focus on thermal and cooling elements. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability of HV Battery systems. Duties:

• Identify potential HV Battery system causes of failure
• Analyze failure chains from cooling components to thermal systems
• Draft and update Battery System requirements and tests
• Define thermal system interface requirements
• Design system responses to failures
• Implement robust measures for known issues
• Support system modelling activities
• Influence future architecture designs

Skills:

Essential: System Engineering, HV Battery Thermal Systems, Failure Mode Avoidance, Test Authoring, Collaboration.
