Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Soch Tech Limited, you will play a key role in architecting and implementing enterprise-grade platforms and business-critical applications. You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing, and maintainable solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Architect and implement microservices-based and event-driven solutions.
• Build reusable platform components and shared services.
• Collaborate with architects to define technical standards and best practices.
• Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.
• Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technical decisions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement.

Skill & Experience

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core/.NET technologies.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of OOP, design principles, and patterns.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Preferred: AKS/EKS, Kafka/RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus, Terraform/Bicep, monitoring tools, and Azure certifications.
