Senior Backend Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale an AI-native platform that combines intelligent applications, autonomous agents, and business workflows. This role focuses on developing Back End services that orchestrate AI capabilities, enterprise systems, APIs, and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable Back End services, APIs, and microservices.
• Build orchestration layers connecting AI agents, business logic, enterprise systems, and human approval workflows.
• Design solutions for long-running processes, state management, retries, and fault recovery.
• Integrate enterprise platforms, third-party applications, and data sources.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, AI/ML, Data, and Platform Engineering.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Back End software development and modern engineering practices.
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs and messaging technologies.
• Strong understanding of workflow orchestration, scalable system design, and resilience patterns.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure software development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a strong advantage.
