Senior Associate, Restructuring

As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and leading complex restructuring and financial advisory engagements. Working closely with case managers and senior staff, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact assignments across various industries. You will also oversee day-to-day operational procedures, ensuring deadlines are met and engagements run smoothly.
This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, with exposure to senior decision-makers and high-profile cases.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Operational Execution: Oversee daily operations across engagements, ensuring deadlines are met and process improvements are implemented to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing Kroll professionally and maintaining effective communication.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with senior staff and management to contribute to decision-making and develop tailored advisory strategies that combine analytical rigor and commercial insight.
- Financial Analysis & Investigations: Conduct detailed financial reviews and investigations across industries, analyzing assets to maximize creditor returns and supporting report preparation.
- Insolvency & Restructuring: Manage insolvency procedures such as CVAs, CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, LPAs, and Receiverships. Prepare necessary statutory documentation and reports.
- Transaction Support: Draft information memoranda and liaise with interested parties during business and asset sales, ensuring clear communication.
- Client-Site Engagement: Visit client sites as needed to gather information and support case delivery.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all deliverables meet high standards and comply with policies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A strong academic record with a 2:1 or equivalent in a relevant degree.
- Professional Experience: Experience in financial analysis, advisory, or restructuring, with the ability to handle complex challenges.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, effective with senior stakeholders.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and develop professional relationships.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Integrity & Professionalism: Commitment to high-quality results and ethical standards.
