Senior Associate - Family Law - Cardiff - 5+ PQE

Location: Cardiff

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid working)

Salary: £48,000 to £58,000 (depending on experience, with flexibility)

A well established and growing Family team is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Cardiff office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family lawyer to take on high quality work within a supportive, collaborative and forward thinking environment.

The Role

You will work as a senior member of the Family team, handling a varied and often complex caseload, including:

  • Divorce and financial remedy matters
  • Private children work
  • Cohabitation disputes
  • Pre and post nuptial agreements
  • Advising mid to high net worth clients
  • Supporting junior lawyers and contributing to team development
  • Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
  • The team is friendly, modern in approach and committed to delivering excellent client care.
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to an experienced family lawyer who can demonstrate:

  • 5+ years' PQE (guideline only)
  • Strong experience across a broad range of family law matters
  • Confidence managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and client handling skills
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support junior colleagues
  • Interest in contributing to the team's growth and profile in the region
