What will you be doing as a Senior Analytics Engineer?

This is a high-impact role focused on the development and optimisation of our modern data platform, supporting everything from internal insights to product innovation. You will play a key role in delivering clean, accurate and actionable data through tools like Looker, Snowflake, and Matillion, ensuring our stakeholders have what they need to make data-driven decisions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and evolve our cloud-based data platform using modern tools and architectures.
  • Build high-performance data pipelines that ingest, transform and deliver data across the business.
  • Design and maintain semantic models in Looker to enable self-serve analytics and embedded insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
  • Champion data quality and governance, embedding robust validation and compliance controls.
  • Prototype and implement new capabilities including AI-driven analytics and custom Looker extensions.
  • Empower stakeholders through training and support, helping them get the most from our data platform.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in an analytics engineering or developer role is essential.
  • You will have built or maintained modern cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Matillion, dbt, Fivetran).
  • You will be a SQL expert who loves transforming data into reliable, trusted datasets.
  • You know your way around LookML and can design dashboards that speak volumes.
  • You are excited by new technology - especially in AI, automation, and analytics innovation.
  • You care about data quality, governance, and scalable design.
  • You are a natural collaborator, able to communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
