Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer - Precision Timing Circuits
We are currently recruiting for a Senior System Engineer to join a fast-growing semiconductor company specializing in precision timing solutions built on MEMS technology. With applications spanning networking infrastructure to ultra-low power mobile and wearable devices, this role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of analog and mixed-signal design within a highly collaborative R&D environment.
This is a permanent working opportunity based onsite in Delft.
Key Responsibilities for this Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer:
- Design analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks based on architecture and performance requirements
- Contribute to circuit architecture definition and system-level integration
- Perform design calculations and simulations at both schematic and post-layout stages
- Ensure circuits are optimized for manufacturability and testability (DFT/DFM)
- Oversee layout in collaboration with layout engineers using Cadence tools
- Support chip bring-up, evaluation, and block-level characterization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with test, applications, and product engineering teams
- Document designs and lead technical reviews
Key Requirements:
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years experience, or Ph.D. with 2+ years in analog/mixed-signal design
- Deep knowledge of CMOS circuits, noise analysis, and analog design fundamentals
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: PLLs (Integer-N or Fractional-N), Sigma-Delta ADCs, Temperature sensors, MEMS/quartz oscillators, Low-noise regulators and bandgaps, Analog/digital filters or high-speed output drivers
- Familiarity with Verilog-A, MATLAB, and Cadence analog design tools
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
