Senior Algorithms Engineer

A Senior Algorithms Engineer is sought by this leading photonics developer based in Leuven. The Senior Algorithms Engineer will be involved in developing next generation, AI driven, holographic applications that will be used in everything from medical robotics to consumer electronics. Working closely with both the hardware and software development teams the Senior Algorithms Engineer will be creating hardware / software-optimised image processing algorithms for both FPGA and ASIC applications.

Having successfully completed your Masters (or equivalent) you will have gained several years of experience in algorithm development implemented on fixed-point platforms. You will have in-depth experience using MATLAB and C coupled with exposure to developing fixed-point C or MATLAB models. You must have a proven track record in complex algorithm development and coupled with this you should be familiar with mathematics and statistics. Exposure to SystemC for system-level (HW/SW) verification would be a bonus.
