Senior AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Salary: 60.000 - 80.000 € per year

• We are looking for candidates with a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field; a business or innovation background is a plus. You should have 5-7 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or solution architecture. Proven expertise in Python and AI/LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow) is essential. Additionally, you should possess strong knowledge of external AI models and services (OpenAI, Vertex, Claude, etc.), experience with cloud-native architectures (preferably Azure), microservices, APIs, and containerized environments. Familiarity with knowledge graph technologies and data architectures is also important. You should demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business needs. A fluent command of English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.

• As a Senior AI Engineer in our Technology & Innovation department, you will be pivotal in developing Riverty's AI platform to accelerate software engineering productivity. You will build AI solutions that support developers in refactoring, documentation, and legacy transformation. Your role will include integrating external AI services to enhance Riverty's products and services, advancing our AI platform capabilities with LLMs, knowledge graphs, APIs, and agent-based workflows, and creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts to quickly demonstrate value and drive adoption. You will deliver production-grade AI services on Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance. Furthermore, you will tackle challenges hands-on and collaborate with external partners to accelerate innovation.
