Overview

The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Friday, 9-5

An opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Senior Addiction Nurses within North West Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service.

About the service

Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service is committed to providing high quality care using an integrated model of care delivery. You would be working as part of a large team dealing with complex clients with drug and alcohol problems and associated physical and mental health problems.

Interagency collaboration

You will be expected to work closely with Children and Families and Criminal Justice Services amongst others. You should be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.

Agenda for Change and flexible working

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
