Job Description
- Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, analysis of results, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, corporate tax and GST reporting, audit schedules, intercompany reconciliation, as well as checking of payment records;
- Assist in ensuring timely preparation of the full set of financial statements for group reporting and statutory audit, and manage the audit process, including liaising with auditors;
- Work closely with outsourced service providers and review the work submitted;
- Support the preparation of financial statements for audit, handling tax matters, budgeting and forecasting;
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies;
- Support operational activities of the finance team, including streamlining processes and procedures to promote efficiency and accuracy;
- Assist in ad hoc projects driving process improvement, such as SAP implementation.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and/or audit experience;
- Well versed in local accounting standards and IFRS;
- Experience in SAP is advantageous;
- Experience in real estate or financial services industry is a clear advantage;
- Responsible, meticulous, analytical, organized, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment;
- Hands on experience with finance operations, good accounting knowledge, responsible, assertive, and experienced in managing people and able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
