Senior Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of accounting operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment in Ghent. This role combines hands-on financial management with leadership and process improvement responsibilities.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Accountant :

• Lead and support the accounting team while liaising with external partners
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and BEGAAP standards and oversee financial reporting across multiple entities
• Drive month-end and year-end closing processes, treasury activities, and consolidation efforts
• Promote efficiency and accuracy through process improvements and effective use of ERP systems and analytical tools
• Support audits and statutory filings, maintaining high standards of financial integrity

About you :

• You have solid experience as a senior accountant or financial controller, ideally in high-growth or listed environments
• You have knowledge of IFRS and BEGAAP, which is considered a strong advantage
• You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• You are fluent in English and Dutch with excellent communication abilities
