What You'll Do

• Own and execute the full financial reporting cycle - monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping across five business entities
• Lead the preparation of cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial models
• Monitor revenue recognition, cost allocations, and intercompany transactions
• Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP and local tax obligations
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
• Partner with the CFO to optimize processes, implement controls, and create a future-proof finance organization
• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and reporting tools
• Manage and mentor junior team members in invoicing and reporting teams when needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a professional services firm or fast-paced, multi-entity environment
• Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and tax regulations
• Hands-on experience with day-to-day accounting, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g. Exact, Basecone, or similar)
• Ability to build structure, implement controls, and suggest process improvements
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and pragmatic with a "can-do" attitude
• Language skills: Native/Bilingual Dutch speaker and Fluent in English
