Senior Account Manager - Promotional Merchandise. A large and leading Promotional Merchandise business is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager with merchandise sector experience to join them.

Company

One of the longest standing UK businesses in the sector, this award-winning outfit have multiple global teams covering Promotional Merchandise, Marketing, Technology and Innovation. Their merchandise team specialise in sourcing and providing promotional products for a range of huge global clients in many sectors (including FMCG). Staff turnover here is extremely low, stability excellent, and much of their large team have been with the business for many years. The senior team are supportive, the business offers plenty of flexibility and opportunities for growth alongside realistic expectations.

Role

This role is within the Promotional Merchandise team and will involve a hybrid role between Account Management and business development. This is a role with great potential that will see the successful candidate working with large budgets. It's an ideal role for an experienced merchandise account manager who's looking for a role with growth potential and a portfolio to manage from the beginning.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the merchandise needs for a portfolio of clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, built on trust and an understanding of the sector and objectives.
  • Put forward creative ideas and concepts for client campaigns.
  • Contribute to new business efforts by spotting opportunities and pitching to potential new clients.
