We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accommodation Officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby College.
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Senior Accommodation Officer to support the delivery of a high quality, safe and welcoming residential service for our students.
In this role, you will work with the Head of Accommodation and you will play a key role in the day to day management of college accommodation, leading and supporting staff, promoting student welfare and safeguarding, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety and accommodation regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, people focused professional who is passionate about student wellbeing, has strong organisational and leadership skills, and thrives in a varied, operational environment.
Responsibilities of this role include;
- To assist in the development, monitoring and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive electronic records for all aspects of accommodation services
- Undertake DSL training and be part of DDSL team
- To assist in the development, updating, maintaining, reviewing and evaluating of the full range of accommodation services
What we are looking for;
- Excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office suit and the use of spreadsheets and/or bespoke databases
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working with young people
- Proven administration and record management skills, with significant attention to detail and accuracy
- Have a proven commitment to the improvement and maintenance of standards

The salary for the role has to be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area i.e. STEM or if you have a PhD relating to the role.
