Job Opportunity: Senior / Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

Based in Oxfordshire, this is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading silicon design companies. Hybrid working is available, with 2-3 days in the office.

Our client is seeking a Senior / Principal level Analog IC Design Engineer who will:

1. Work closely with the marketing team and customers to determine project requirements and oversee the entire IC design process from definition, specification, to silicon evaluation and testing.
2. Take ownership of the design and simulation of Analog/Mixed Signal IC blocks, such as charge pumps, DC-DC converters, power management, filters, and amplifiers.
3. Supervise physical implementation.
4. Be responsible for EMI, EMC, and signal integrity analysis.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A strong academic background, with at least a BSc in Electronic Engineering or related field.
2. Several years of experience in Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design, with expertise in areas such as power management blocks, high side/low side drivers for high voltage or high power applications, or custom high voltage ESD and IO design.

You will be expected to take ownership of problems and develop suitable solutions, operating effectively at multiple levels up to senior management. The role requires adaptability to various challenges and projects, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
