Senior - Financial Service Tax

We are looking to hire a Senior to join our growing Financial Services Tax team at Grant Thornton. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across the financial services sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering client engagements, developing technical expertise, and building strong client relationships while working closely with Managers and the wider Financial Services Tax team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of financial services clients, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and review income and corporation tax returns in accordance with Irish tax legislation and company law requirements.
- Research technical tax matters, identify tax planning opportunities, and assist in developing practical solutions for clients.
- Build strong client relationships by responding to day-to-day queries and providing timely, high-quality service.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the team, sharing knowledge and contributing to the successful delivery of client engagements.
- AITI/CTA qualified, with 1+ years' post-qualification experience in a tax practice environment.
- Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, with experience in tax compliance; financial services tax experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and team relationships.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous learning and developing a career in professional services.
