SEND Teaching Assistant SEMH Rugby

About the role:

justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEMH needs. This is a full-time role with an Immediate start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong inclusion team and access to external behaviour support services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEMH needs
• Implement behaviour support strategies
• Promote emotional regulation
• Support engagement with learning

Pre-requisites:

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
