Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in school life.
- A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH, is advantageous.
