SEND Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Working with children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils' emotional, social, and academic development
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with SEND pupils (essential)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
