SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), SEMH, and learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and confident supporting students on a 1:1 and small-group basis.

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, particularly ASD
• Assist with behaviour management and promote positive learning behaviour
• Support classroom routines and learning activities under teacher direction
• Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
• Maintain safeguarding and follow school policies at all times

• Experience supporting children with SEND (ASD preferred)
• Calm, resilient, and able to adapt to pupil needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
