SEND Teaching Assistant - LS13 - Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in LS13 on a full-time basis from September.
You will be supporting pupils across EYFS-KS2, working 1:1 and in small groups with children with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with children with SEND
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Protocol Education offers free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all workers and requires a valid enhanced DBS check and subscription to DBS Update Service.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with potential for permanent role in future.
