SEND Teaching Assistant - Kingstanding

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant?Do you have previous care work experience, and looking t transfer your skills into a new role?Have you previously worked within nurseries but now looking for more suitable working hours?A school within Kingstanding is currently looking for an SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception on a 1:1 basis.This child is non-verbal, and has ASD. They will also require personal care.You will be working with the child both inside and outside of the classroom, supporting sensory play and speech development.This school has an extremely supportive SEND team who will work alongside you to ensure that this child is reaching their full potential.To be successful in this role you will require: Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable) Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one to one basis Experience of MAKATON is preferable but not essential Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum Recent primary school experience within the last 2 yearsThis is an excellent opportunity to work at a great school in the area and potential to secure a full-time position.I can offer very good rates of pay and I will be available 24/7 for you should you need my help with anything.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
