SEND Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - 1:1 Support

We are recruiting a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil on a 1:1 basis in a Gateshead primary school. This is a highly rewarding opportunity within SEND support jobs in Gateshead.

About the role

You'll provide tailored, consistent support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access learning and feel confident in the classroom.

What your day will involve

• Working 1:1 with a pupil throughout the school day
• Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Building a strong, trusting relationship

You'll become a key part of that child's school journey - celebrating every bit of progress along the way.

Working hours

• Full time
• 8:30am - 3:30pm
