SEND Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a welcoming all age SEND school in Maidenhead on a full time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and helping them achieve both academically and personally within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils across various age groups.
- Support a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents and external professionals.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of one year's teaching experience, preferably within a SEND or specialist setting.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a child centred approach.
- Adaptable, patient and confident in working with a multidisciplinary team.
- Prepared to provide an up to date DBS and other mandatory compliance checks in line with DfE guidelines.
- Full time position, Monday to Friday.
- Working hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
- Pay dependent on teacher pay scale and experience.
- September start or immediate, as required.
