We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in the Bromley region. This is a full-time position for an experienced practitioner or an ambitious teacher with a strong interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs, and moderate learning difficulties. You will play a vital role in delivering tailored, high-quality education that enables every child to reach their full potential.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies
Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
Develop personalised learning strategies to support academic and social development
Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working within a SEND setting or with pupils with additional needs
Strong understanding of EHCP processes and inclusive teaching strategies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Patience, resilience, and a child-centred approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
A welcoming and inclusive school community
Ongoing CPD and specialist SEND training
Supportive leadership and collaborative staff team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
