Job Description
We are seeking a Year Leader to design and deliver exceptional, community-based learning sessions on our Building Futures Programme. You will lead engaging, person-centred learning for groups of young adults with SEND across Guildford and Woking.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri 9am to 5.30pm with occasional weekends and evenings). Annual Leave: 33 days (including bank holidays). Training: Fully paid, with ongoing development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver person-centred, goal-orientated sessions (please see the example timetable below)
- Support groups of 6-12 learners
- Providing a high level of service to participants, colleagues and stakeholders
- Ensure a safe, caring, responsive and well led service in line with safeguarding and regulatory requirements
- An understanding of learning disabilities
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills
- Experience delivering person centred activities (e.g. education, youth work, events, or support roles)
- Due to the physical nature of the programme and community working, a good level of fitness and stamina is required.
