Teaching Assistant

• Annual Salary: £23,000 pro rata

• Job Type: Full-time
• Joining Bonus: £1,000 after probation

We are excited to offer four positions for full-time Teaching Assistants at Jigsaw School. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education and looking to make a significant impact in a supportive learning environment. Interviews are scheduled for the 12th of May.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons and educational activities.
• Support individual students and small groups under the direction of the lead teacher.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe and record student progress, reporting back to the lead teacher.
• Participate in school meetings and training sessions.
• Engage with students to foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and education.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
