SEND & SEMH Opportunities - Flexible Classroom Roles East Sussex

Schools across East Sussex continue to recruit educators who are committed to supporting pupils with additional needs in structured and supportive learning environments.

SEND and SEMH settings require adults who can remain calm, offer consistent guidance and help pupils engage with learning in a positive way. For the right individuals, this work can be both rewarding and professionally valuable.

We are currently seeking both teachers and teaching assistants who are open to opportunities across SEND and SEMH schools throughout the county.

  • SEND and SEMH teaching positions
  • Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant roles
  • Classroom and behaviour support
  • 1:1 support roles
  • Long-term placements or flexible work

Different schools offer different working environments, and opportunities are available across a variety of settings.

Who We're Looking For

Previous SEND experience is helpful but not essential. Many schools are happy to support educators who are willing to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
