SENCo: Lead Inclusive Education & SEND Provision

Portsmouth City Council is seeking a committed Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to lead its provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Starting in September 2026, you will work to shape an inclusive learning environment, collaborating with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure every pupil achieves their potential. A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, qualified teacher status, and commitment to inclusive education are essential, alongside a willingness to obtain the NASENCo qualification.
