Job Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEN profiles

  • Track progress and provide clear feedback to parents/carers and relevant professionals

  • Build positive, supportive relationships that promote engagement and confidence

  • Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and compliance requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive practice

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

  • Experience working with EHCPs

  • Training in areas such as autism support, dyslexia intervention, or SEMH strategies

  • Experience delivering 1:1 tuition outside of mainstream classroom settings
