• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the national curriculum and meet the specific needs of SEN students
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development
• Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials and resources to ensure accessibility and effectiveness
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the evaluation of individual learning plans
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation, builds confidence, and promotes a love for learning
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's development and well-being

• Relevant qualifications in education, special educational needs, or a related field (e.g. , PGCE, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
• Strong understanding of the UK education system and the challenges faced by SEN students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Proficiency in using assistive technologies and adaptive teaching strategies
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient mindset, with a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of SEN students
