Are you a qualified teacher experienced with SEN and autism? Interested in helping individuals with learning disabilities and autism? Maybe an experienced SEN Teaching assistant looking for a step up.
Responsibilities- You'll teach functional skills English and Maths, embedding employability and life skills.
- Dedicated time for planning and admin work each week, with a 3 day workweek from 9:00 to 17:00.
- The program blends education and work experience, preparing learners for employment.
- You will be based in Barnet.
- You will deliver 3 days of teaching and 2 days for admin and lesson prep or liaising with wider stakeholders, such as coordinating with employers, family, or job coaches who support the young people on their placements.
- You must have either a Level 3 (PTLLS) or a Level 5 (DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) teaching qualification.
Please note the salary for a Level 3 teaching qualification is £17,878 (£29,798 full time equivalent) and for Level 5 teaching qualification it is £19,203 (£32,005 full time equivalent). If successful you will be put through your Level 3 and Level 5 if you don't already have them.
