Job Description

  • Pay: £25-30 per hour

  • Face-to-face tuition

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised tuition tailored to each student's individual SEN needs

  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit learning styles, abilities, and emotional needs

  • Support students with engagement, confidence, and positive learning behaviours

  • Manage and respond calmly to behavioural or emotional challenges

  • Track progress and provide feedback to parents, carers, or commissioning bodies

  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working as an SEN tutor, teacher, or support professional

  • Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties

  • Patient, empathetic, and confident working with vulnerable young people

  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Reliable and able to commit consistently to agreed sessions
