Do you thrive in a setting where every day is different, and every breakthrough matters? Academics are currently looking for a dedicated Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Alterntive Provision in Sittingbourne.

In this unique position, you will use PE, movement-based learning, and physical engagement to help children with SEN access the curriculum, regulate their emotions, and develop confidence in both academic and personal skills. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to tailor learning experiences that meet the needs of each individual learner.

Confidence in leading or supporting PE-based activities

A trauma-informed and child-centred approach

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
