We are working with a well structured primary school in North London looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can handle challenge without escalation. This is not a passive support role. You will be working with pupils who need consistency, structure and calm adults who do not react under pressure. The school has strong leadership and clear behaviour systems in place - you will not be left to manage situations alone.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN or behavioural needs
• Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff
• Provide small group or targeted 1:1 support
• Maintain long term placement with consistency

Qualifications

• Calm, reliable, and consistent personality
• Experience in schools, PRU, SEMH or youth work
• Ability to de escalate behaviour, not inflame it
• Thick skin and professional mindset
